Meet our baker

Emma Sterzinger is a St. Augustine original, pastry chef and pie specialist. Before returning to her hometown, she spent more than a decade in Chicago, where she is locally recognized for her desserts.

After attending Kendall College Culinary Art School, Emma ran the cocktail and dessert programs for several restaurants. She began focusing on pies while managing The General bar and restaurant, where she regularly dreamed up seasonal offerings that caught the attention of esteemed publications, including the Chicago Tribune and Eater. In 2018, Emma started her own pie business, hand-delivering her confections to several Chicago restaurants.

Growing up around fresh bagels from her parents’ shop spoiled Emma on quality baked goods and breads. She takes after her mom, who made pies for a restaurant as well as her family. Inspired by the natural gifts of the season, she is always creating something new. Whether you’re a fruit aficionado or a custard connoisseur, Emma only has pies for you.
